Applicants who successfully complete an early childhood education (ECE) diploma program from an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology (OCAAT) will meet the education requirement for registration. You can view a list of these programs here.
The College may also assess other ECE programs offered by post-secondary institutions in Ontario or Canada to determine if they meet the education requirement for registration. If a program meets the standard, then applicants who successfully complete that program will meet the education requirement for registration. The tables below identify which programs the College currently recognizes as meeting the education requirement for registration.
